my project is the famous rrod that the xbox 360 has been experienceing sence its release

ok..... i spend alot of time working on computers.playstations3.nintendoDS.some gameboys .and ALOT of ipods . so recently i started messing witht the xbox 360 and its many problems .
Now on the upside for microsoft at the time of its release the xbox360 wowed thousands because the best gameing consol out was the ps2 "witch was nothing to wow about " and most of the issues it had can in some way be brought back to the user because i have had little problem keeping my xbox cool just lay it on its side .
ok back to the xbox problems the biggest problem i have had herd with the xbox is about the 3 red rings aka RRoD (general hardware failure) . i have found that if youy have only haed your xbox for a small time 6 months too 2 years that most of the time the failure can be narrowed down to one issue .....heat . i know i know "overheating could mean anything " well 99% of the time in this case it means that the CPU and th GPU arnt being cooled correctly because of microsoft cutting corners and it causes parts and thermal paste to weaken . i have tried many forms of repairing this and my faverote fix is actually a perminant one FOR THE MOST PART
its known as the x clamp fix it replaces the two x clamps on the bottom side of the motherboard that holds the heatsink to the CPU and the GPU with screws . i didnt bother spending 30$ for a few screws and artic silver thermal paste witch is 9.95$ at radioshack 8 screws and 24 washers witch you can get both at ACE HARDWARE for about $.23 a peice and the washers for about $.8 cents a peice it adds up to about fifteen dollers total in the end the screw sizes and washers i am unshore of . the research for the design for the xbox 360 i got from the link above and the actual repairs are from my own personal exploration .
